It works for me on small posts!
Like if I paste the test post!
But on larger posts with pictures and all it doesn't work!

I tried this and it works great on Internet Explorer, but doesn't work on Safari or Firefox. What seems to be the problem?

The latest entry works fine on IE, but the other entry includes the expandable summary text even if there are no text hidden? How do I fix that?

Much thanks. Although blogger has added the read more into their editor. The new template I downloaded didn't have the html code in the template for "Read More"..."continue reading" or whatever. Therefore, some may have mistakenly felt like it was the end of the post.

This really works. I've been searching the net for days trying to find an expandable posts code, and thrilled that yours actually works.

If there's a way to change the code so that each post truncates itself automatically, please let me know. The less time I have to fiddle with customizing the code in each blog post the better, because I'm a mad texter.

If you want to be a professional blogger, you should ditch blogger and switch to wordpress :)
