Granting access to friends and family members to post articles on your Blogger

Blogger, the blogging website of Google allows your friends and family members to post their articles on your blogs. You can grant permission to other to post articles. Encouraging your friends to post on your blog will benefit you in improving the content available on your blog, which in turn helps you in attracting more users to visit your blog. Follow these simple steps to grant permissions to post new articles and edit their articles

  1. Log in to your blogger account
  2. Select your blog shown in welcome screen (dashboard screen)
  3. Go to Settings tab
  4. Select Permissions tab
  5. Click on the Add Authors link
  6. Add Google Account of your friend or family member to whom you want to grant permission.
  7. That's all. You friend will be given access to your blog

You friend will receive a confirmation e-mail from blogger once you grant access. After confirming the mail, you friends can login to their blogger account and access your blog. By default they will be able to post new articles and edit their own articles using their Guest role. Administration activities like changing the layout activities are allowed only if they are granted with admin role.
