Wonderful Day In Indian Cricket - India Enters Finals of Twenty 20 World Cricket Cup

Today I would like to deviate from my regular technical blogging and post an article about my favorite game Cricket. Tonight we enjoyed  excellent performance of the Indian Cricket team against World Champions Australian team in Twenty 20 World Cup 2007 semi finals. India out performed Australia from the beginning of the match in batting as well as bowling and stormed into finals. Watch video highlights at Cricket Jini

5 awesome sixes of Yuvraj Singh (one among the five sixes is the lengthiest six ever hit in International cricket - 119 Meters) and excellent bowling of Sreesanth, R P Singh and Harbajan Singh helped India to book their place in first ever Twenty 20 World Cup finals.

On Monday 24th September, India is going to clash with their rivals Pakistan in the final match. This is going to be the mother of all the cricket matches ever played by these two teams. For the first time India is going to face Pakistan in a world cup final match. Till date India never lost a match to Pakistan in any World Cup. Lets hope India is going to take that forward by winning this final match of the first Twenty 20 World Cup. Wish you all the best India.
