Firefox is the most popular browser these days. It is very hard to imagine browsing without Firefox. But at times Firefox becomes slower, eats up lots of memory, shoots up CPU usage to unimaginable levels. Uninstalling all plugins, deleting cache or tweaking configurations may not help us sometimes to bring Firefox to good state.
Amit Agarwal of Digital Inspirations has debugged this problem and provided an excellent solution to turbo charge Firefox without reinstalling.
His solution to the problem is very simple. Create a new user profile with the help of command firefox.exe - P and use the new profile as default profile from now onwards. Before running this command make sure that all the instances of Firefox closed. If Firefox is running, firefox.exe - P command does not provide an option to create a new profile.
It's very simple solution right? Read more on this article at Firefox Running Slow? Make It Fast Again Without Re-Installation
