It's almost 9 years ago Bill Gates met the infamous Blue Screen Of Death.
At Comdex 98 conference, Gates and his assistant were demonstrating an early iteration of Microsoft Windows 98 Plug & Play technology. All of sudden Windows 98 Blue Screen popped up on the giant display screen leaving Bill Gates in very embarrassing situation and applause from the crowd. Gates replied after a nervous pause "That must be why we're not shipping Windows 98 yet"
By the time of this demo Win 98 nearing the completion of development.
