At D6 conference, Microsoft showed a preview of Windows 7 Multi touch interface based on the same principles of Microsoft Surface. Windows 7 is expected to replace Vista by the end of 2009 or early 2010. Watch the demo video below
The demo shows touch enabled applications for organising photos, drawing images, a digital globe for exploring the maps and playing piano. The multi touch interface is really cool and it may eventually set industry standards for new ways of user input to computers.
Apart from innovations on new ways to interact with computers, lets hope Microsoft Windows 7 will solve the problems introduced by Vista.
